Luis Arturo Gomez Torres (born May 28, 1984 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico) is a Mexican boxer in the Lightweight division and is the current WBC Mundo Hispano Lightweight Champion.[1]

Arturo won a ten round decision over Sandro Marcos[2] and then he lost to undefeated Mexican American Miguel Angel Garcia.[3]
On July 17, 2010 Gomez beat Alexis Salinas to win the WBC Mundo Hispano Lightweight Championship.[4]
He has gone the distance with Jose Emilio Perea, Pedro Navarrete, Oscar Larios, Victor Manuel Cayo, Juan Carlos Batista, Michael Farenas, and Jose Alfaro.
